Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULE and REFUND POLICY

Please contact Safer Days CPR via email or telephone 48 hours before the scheduled start time of your booked appointment to cancel or reschedule. We will give you a refund of any money paid MINUS a $10.00 reschedule or cancellation fee. No refund or credit will be given to students for no shows on the day of class. The “TIME STAMP” of your email and or voice message left with us will be the official time of record that will be used.
If you register for a course and it ends up being the wrong course for which you need, Safer Days CPR is not responsible for the error. No refund or credit will be given if you do not cancel and or reschedule before the 48 hours allowed as listed above. If you show up to a course and then find out your attending the wrong course and or you attend any portion of a course no refund/credit or partial refund will be allowed. This will fall under the 48 hour rule as listed above.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you, Safer Days CPR has reserved the seat for you as promised by your completed payment and has fulfilled our obligation by conducting the specified course which you registered for. If you are the only person registered and paid for the course that day no refund will be issued even if the course is cancelled due to registering for the wrong course.
If the instructor is capable of teaching the course you need and you are the only person who showed that day then the instructor has the right to accommodate you and conduct the course you’re in need of. Any extra appropriate fees will be charged in the event of a price difference of the course being conducted for you. If the course you need cost less than the course you purchased no refund or credit will be issued.
*** ATTENTION PLEASE*** ON-LINE KEY CODES HAVE NO REFUNDS AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN EMAILED OUT TO YOU.
***If you purchase a book through our web page and it has not been issued to you yet, Safer Days CPR will be more than happy to refund you the amount you paid for the book, or you may arrange to come by our office and pick it up. No opened books may be returned or refunded for any reason. Books may not be issued during the course and then returned for a refund, this includes if it has been unopened. Books may also not be shared during the course, this is against American Heart Association rules and guidelines. Each student must have their own current book, this is per AHA rules in order to attend an AHA course and is not a Save A Heart CPR rule.
No refunds, reschedule, credit or cancellations will be allowed inside the 48 hours or on the day of class for “NO SHOWS”.
**** By registering, paying and or booking a class with Safer Days CPR you AGREE to these terms and conditions for Safer Days CPR’s refund, cancellation, credit and reschedule policy.
IF NOBODY HAS PAID FOR THE CLASS 48 HOURS BEFORE IT TAKES PLACE WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL IT WITHOUT NOTIFICATION TO THE PARTICIPANTS WHO REGISTERED BUT HAVE NOT PAID YET. *IF YOU ARE THE ONLY PERSON WHO HAS PAID IN ADVANCE WE WILL HOLD THE CLASS JUST FOR YOU.
CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION, MAILING POLICY, AHA CARD FEE AND DEACTIVATION FEES
1. Your Certificate of Completion will be emailed to you AFTER all fees have been paid to Safer Days CPR for services or books rendered to you for the class or classes you attended.
2. Certificate of Completions for Managing Assaultive Behavior will be sent to you via email within 72 hours after completion of the course providing you have NO BALANCE due with Safer Days CPR. If you prefer your Managing Assaultive Behavior Certificate of Completion faster a “RUSH FEE” of $5 will be charged.
3. Safer Days CPR has the right to issue a Managing Assaultive Behavior Certificate of Completion on the day of the course or email it within the 72 hours. “Please see above”
4. If you need a replacement Managing Assaultive Behavior Certificate of Completion for any reason a fee of $10 will be charged. A new one will be emailed to you after the appropriate fee has been paid.
5. If you need an AHA card replaced for any reason a fee of $15 will be charged to replace it. Your AHA card will be mailed to you ASAP after all fees have been paid. Safer Days CPR is not responsible for lost items sent standard US Mail. If you prefer we will send it to you Certified Mail for an additional $5 fee.
6. IF Safer Days CPR DEACTIVATES YOUR AHA CARD OR CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION IN OUR SYSTEM DUE TO AN OUTSTANDING BALANCE WITH US, THEIR WILL BE A $25.00 REACTIVATION FEE ADDED TO YOUR BALANCE. WE WILL ATTEMPT TO NOTIFY YOU AND GIVE YOU TIME TO PAY THIS AMOUNT WITH US BEFORE WE DEACTIVATE YOUR AHA CARD OR CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION IN OUR SYSTEM. WE WILL GIVE YOU A FINAL DATE TO BECOME CURRENT WITH US, AFTER THIS DATE AND SPECIFIED TIME THE FEE WILL APPLY. AFTER ALL FEES ARE PAID WE WILL REACTIVATE YOUR AHA CARD OR CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION AND SEND IT OUT TO YOU BY US MAIL.
Continuing Education Units/Contact Hours
CE’s/Contact Hours will be offered to participants for a fee of $5 for any individual who requires them that Safer Days CPR has the ability to issue them for. The required CE Roster must be filled out on the day of the course to receive the credit. The individual must also have their license number if applicable on the day of the course in order for us to issue them. This is required due to how the system prompts the instructor while entering the students information. CE’s may not be issued after course takes place.

*** By booking/registering and paying for a class or attending a course with Safer Days CPR you AGREE TO ALL terms and conditions listed on this page pertaining to our Refunds, Reschedule, Cancellation, Card Deactivation Fee, Class Cancellations, AHA card replacement or Certificate of Completion Fees, email policy, Credit of paid or lost fees, AHA Key Codes for On-Line courses and lost US Mail service.
